A housekeeping note
There are two sections of this newsletter: the one you’re reading, called Leaflet, which is for little essays by me, collections of quotes I like, or news about writing of mine in print somewhere, and another called Album, for my photos, mostly of birds, which lately I’ve been posting a couple of times a week. Everyone is free to subscribe to one section, or the other, or both, or neither! I created two separate sections because I realized there were probably some people who were fans of my writing who weren’t so much into getting bird photos 24-7-365, and vice versa.
Yesterday, by accident, I sent bird photos to the people who were supposed to be getting only essays. Sorry! A couple of people unsubscribed—fair enough—but more confusingly, the post got more likes than usual. Which made me think that some of you aren’t signed up for birds but want to be? If you’re reading this, you’re on the list for words (the section called Leaflet). If, a few hours ago, you received an email from me with photos of raccoons bro-ing it up and grackles having sex, then you’re also on the list for birds (the section called Album). But if you didn’t see the raccoons and grackles, and wish to see such creatures in the future, then click on the button below, and under “Notifications,” make sure that both Leaflet and Album are checked:
(For the record, I don’t know how to tell who is signed up for which version, so your freedom in this matter is total.)
